Sussex Pakistan Scholarship (Masters)

University of Sussex Original Source

About This Opportunity

The Sussex Pakistan Scholarship is designed specifically for Pakistani nationals who are classified as 'Overseas' for fee purposes and have been accepted to study an eligible Masters course at the University of Sussex starting in September 2026. The scholarship provides a tuition fee reduction of £4,000 to support Pakistani students in pursuing postgraduate education at Sussex. The scholarship is applied automatically if applicants meet the eligibility criteria, making the application process streamlined and straightforward. Students must be self-financing to receive the scholarship, meaning those with fully sponsored tuition fees are not eligible. The award is available for full-time Masters degree programs, with certain exclusions including certificates, diplomas, PGCE, courses at Brighton and Sussex Medical School, specific development-related Masters programs, online courses, and research council-funded degrees. Confirmation of the scholarship is sent by email after receiving an offer of a place to study at Sussex, and the scholarship information is included in the CAS (Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies) for visa applications. There is no limit on the number of scholarships available, and dual nationals may be required to provide evidence of Pakistani citizenship both to the University and during the visa application process. The scholarship is awarded as a tuition fee reduction for each year of full-time study and is not available for placement/study abroad years or resit years.
