Sussex Progressive Futures Scholarships

To mark the launch of the University of Sussex's new strategy – 'Sussex 2035: Creating Progressive Futures' and to celebrate the establishment of the Sussex School for Progressive Futures, this scholarship programme supports selected taught masters courses. These courses embody interdisciplinary transformational themes of digital and data futures, environmental sustainability, and human flourishing. The scholarships are awarded to students with exceptional academic grades who are self-financing their Masters degree. Progressive Futures Scholars will play a vital part in realising the university's vision of creating flourishing, sustainability and progress for the whole world. The scholarship provides a £10,000 tuition fee reduction for the 2026 academic year, with 10 scholarships available across three thematic areas covering 26 eligible Masters programmes ranging from Artificial Intelligence to Climate Change to Gender Studies.
