This is an economic support fund managed by the Swedish Nurses Association (Svensk sjuksköterskeförening) that provides financial assistance to licensed nurses in need. The fund, which includes the Sigrid Ulrich Foundation among others, aims to support nurses who have low income due to illness, retirement, or other reasons requiring economic assistance. In 2024, the association distributed 1,307,956 SEK in grants to nurses who needed financial support due to illness, old age, or other circumstances. The support can be used for expenses such as dental care, eyeglasses, rehabilitation, recreation, or assistive devices that are not subsidized. Priority is given to first-time applicants. The fund does not provide support for studies, debt repayment, or therapy costs.
