Svenska Akademiens franska stipendium

The Swedish Academy annually announces two scholarships of 30,000 SEK each for a four-week residency in one of the Swedish Institute's guest apartments in Paris. The apartments are located in a 16th-century building in the Marais district in the center of Paris, and the scholarship is intended to cover rent, travel, and expenses. Applicants may be authors, translators, cultural writers, or researchers. Applications must include a project description (max 4 pages) with information about established contacts and planned exchange. Merit is based on the strength of the project and its connection to the French environment. Collaboration with the Swedish Institute is welcomed but not required.
