This grant program supports projects driven by civil society organizations that contribute to positive societal development in Sweden and internationally. The foundation finances initiatives within areas such as democracy, human rights, climate, culture, and well-being and community. Applications can be submitted year-round for projects addressing national or global challenges. The program seeks to enable change, innovation and engagement that aligns with UN Sustainable Development Goals. Projects typically run 12-24 months and the average grant is approximately 2 million SEK, with grants rarely below 700,000 SEK except in exceptional cases. Organizations must be non-profit associations, foundations or civil society organizations working in the public interest.
