Sveriges författarfonds arbetsstipendier

Sveriges författarfond (Sweden's Author Fund) offers work grants (arbetsstipendium) to support authors, translators, cultural journalists, and playwrights. These grants are part of various state-funded stipends and grants distributed by the author fund, in addition to library compensation. The grants are announced twice per year with a highly competitive application process. Due to high competition with many qualified applicants, individuals who have been awarded or received payment for any work grant from the author fund during 2025 cannot be awarded a grant in 2026. This rule applies regardless of whether the grants in question are taxable or not. The fund is administered by Sveriges författarfond and provides financial support for creative and professional work in the literary and cultural fields.
