About This Opportunity

The SWE Wisconsin Scholarship provides financial support to undergraduate women pursuing engineering degrees at ABET-accredited institutions in Wisconsin or the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. The scholarship has a minimum value of $1,000 and is open to full-time undergraduate students in their sophomore year or higher, graduating after December 2025. Scholarship funds are paid directly to the college and must be applied to tuition, fees, books, or equivalent expenses. The scholarship honors Martha Maxwell, a passionate SWE member and project engineer who served in numerous leadership positions with SWE-WI. The memorial fund was created to continue fostering excitement about engineering, math, and science for young girls and women. Previous SWE-WI scholarship recipients are not eligible to apply again. SWE membership is not required to apply.
