About This Opportunity

The SWEF Business Grant supports young people living in County Durham or Tees Valley with a business investment they can't afford but will transform their business. Young people not in education, employment or training are encouraged to apply. This Fund is not a loan scheme - if you are awarded a grant, you do not need to pay the grant back. SWEF offers two types of grants: a Start-Up Grant of up to £500 for pre-revenue or early-stage businesses, and a Business Grant of up to £2,000 for established businesses with trading income. The grant can be used for equipment, materials, prototypes, website development, training, and product development to help young entrepreneurs grow their businesses in County Durham and Tees Valley.
