About this opportunity
SWEF Enterprise Grants provide funding to young entrepreneurs aged 18-30 across Greater Lincolnshire to help them start or grow their businesses. The program offers two types of grants: SWEF Start-Up grants for businesses in the pre-revenue phase or yet to make any income or sales, providing up to £500 for essential costs such as equipment, materials, stock, website building, product development and training. SWEF Established Business grants are for businesses that have already started trading and are less than 2 years old, offering up to £2,000 to support growth and development, including expanding operations, upgrading equipment, or other business needs that will help increase revenues. The program is delivered in partnership between Lincolnshire Community Foundation and SWEF. Successful applicants receive funding by bank transfer to a business bank account and must spend the grant within 1 year, providing feedback at 6 and 12 months after receiving the grant offer. Applications are rolling and decisions are made within 2 months of submission.
