About this opportunity
The SYCF Community Grants Programme is made up of several funds provided by generous local donors. It is intended to support community groups and organisations across South Yorkshire, especially smaller, developing or less well-resourced organisations and grass-roots groups, where small amounts of funding can make a real difference. The programme focuses on making a difference in local neighbourhoods through funding priorities including education and learning, poverty deprivation, work and the local economy, health and well-being (including physical and mental health), homelessness, social isolation, and supporting people with disabilities. Grants of up to £5,000 are available to be spent within one year of grant award. The funding can be used for capital work such as equipment and building repairs, revenue costs including room hire and salaries, and service provision including materials and specialist support for groups and activities.
