The Sydney Access Scholarship has been established to address the educational disadvantage experienced by people living in regional or remote areas or those affected by socio-economic or financial disadvantage. This undergraduate coursework scholarship is valued at $8,500 per annum and is tenable for the duration of the agreed undergraduate degree (single or combined) up to a maximum of 5 years full-time. The Scholarship annual value is paid in two equal instalments after the census date of each semester. Recipients must meet progression requirements for their course and achieve Satisfied Requirements grades. The scholarship does not cover appended Honours degrees or postgraduate studies, even if taken as part of a vertically integrated combined degree.
