About this opportunity
The Sydney International Equity Scholarship was established in 2024 to support international students to study a postgraduate coursework degree at the University of Sydney. The scholarship is funded by the University and delivered with key global partners to students they work with from low socioeconomic and marginalised backgrounds in countries defined as developing by the Minister for Foreign Affairs. The University of Sydney will consult with key global partners to identify potential candidates, and recipients must be recommended by a key global partner organisation. The scholarship provides comprehensive support including full tuition fees, living allowance, accommodation, health cover, flight tickets, textbooks, and ancillary costs for the full-time duration of the recipient's degree, up to two years. Applicants must be international students who have applied for but not yet commenced a postgraduate coursework degree at the University of Sydney, must enrol full-time, and must be active members of communities where the relevant key global partners operate.
