About This Opportunity

The Sydney Scholars India Scholarship Program is designed to foster engagement between the University of Sydney and India by supporting exceptional Indian students pursuing undergraduate and postgraduate coursework degrees. Worth $500,000 annually, this program aims to strengthen the bond with India through investment in research, collaboration with industry partners, and deepening commitment to education. The program offers 28 scholarships annually with three tiers: 2 full tuition scholarships covering 100% of tuition fees for undergraduate degrees up to four years, 10 first-year scholarships worth $20,000, and 16 first-year scholarships worth $10,000. The scholarships are awarded based on academic merit, personal statements, and the applicant's admission application to the University of Sydney. This scholarship is one of the most generous programs available to international students from India offered by an Australian university. Recipients are selected to become India's future visionary leaders and are expected to promote the program and represent the University at student events, marketing events, and corporate networking events. The program supports students across all undergraduate and postgraduate coursework degrees, enabling them to achieve their full potential while contributing to strengthening educational and research ties between Australia and India.
