About this opportunity
The University of Sydney School of Architecture, Design and Planning Indigenous Scholarship aims to increase access for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students to Australian architecture, design and planning studies by supporting the continuation or commencement of studies for Indigenous students at the University of Sydney. The scholarship is valued at $10,000 per annum and is tenable for the duration of the full-time degree program, covering undergraduate and postgraduate coursework students. The scholarship is generously funded by the Collin Mort Bequest and provides financial support to help Indigenous students pursue their studies in architecture, design, and planning fields. Recipients are selected based on academic merit, a personal statement demonstrating interest and motivation, and confirmation of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander identity. Shortlisted applicants may be invited to attend an interview where they have the option to present a portfolio.
