About this opportunity

The Sydney School of Architecture, Design and Planning Indigenous Scholarship aims to increase access for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students to Australian architecture, design and planning studies. This scholarship supports the continuation or commencement of studies for Indigenous students at the University of Sydney. The scholarship is generously funded by the Collin Mort โ€“ Bequest and is available to both undergraduate and postgraduate coursework students enrolled in the School of Architecture, Design and Planning. The scholarship is valued at $10,000 per annum for the duration of the full-time degree program. Recipients are selected based on academic merit (HSC performance for school leavers or WAM/SAM for current students), a personal statement demonstrating interest and motivation in their chosen course, and confirmation of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander identity. Shortlisted applicants will be invited to attend an interview where they may present a portfolio.
