About this opportunity
This scholarship aims to provide financial support to students entering the Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree at the University of Sydney. Established in 2022 through generous donations to the Sydney School of Veterinary Sciences, the scholarship specifically supports students who identify as Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander peoples, have carer responsibilities, or come from rural or remote primary residential addresses. The scholarship is awarded based on academic merit, evidence of eligibility criteria, and personal statements outlining how the scholarship will assist with studies and the applicant's interest in rural veterinary practice post-graduation. Recipients must maintain full-time enrollment and a minimum Semester Average Mark of 65 each semester to continue receiving the scholarship.
