About this opportunity
This scholarship aims to support low socio-economic students commencing a Bachelor of Veterinary Biology and Doctor of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Sydney. Established in 2021 through the generous donation of the William Charles Watling Bequest, this scholarship provides financial support to eligible students entering the Bachelor of Veterinary Biology degree/Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree at the University of Sydney. The scholarship is valued at $15,000 per annum for the first 3 years of the degree to support academic course fees, books and other relevant course costs. Preference will be given to students who demonstrate low socio-economic status via the Educational Access Scheme, students from rural, regional, or remote areas of Australia, or those who identify as Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander persons. Recipients are required to maintain full-time enrolment and a minimum Semester Average Mark of 65 each semester to continue receiving the scholarship.
