About this opportunity
Sydney Zoo is the sponsor of three scholarships as part of its partnership with Western Sydney University, with two scholarships awarded to Indigenous students studying in a field associated with the zoo. The scholarship is open to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students only who are enrolled at Western Sydney University. Eligible students must be new or continuing undergraduate students studying courses related to tourism, science (with preference for zoology), communication, natural science, or business (with specific major preferences). The scholarship provides approximately $30,000 in total support over 3 years. Two scholarships are offered annually to support Indigenous students pursuing education in fields relevant to zoo operations and wildlife conservation.
