Sylvia Clarke Legacy Fund

The Sylvia Clarke Legacy Fund honors the memory of Sylvia Clarke, a community nurse who dedicated her life to helping those in need. Through a generous donation from her estate, Sheffield Hallam University provides a limited number of non-repayable bursaries to nursing students experiencing financial hardship. These funds aim to reduce financial strains caused by student life and help students fulfil their potential within their chosen field. Recipients will be in their final year of study and will receive a small, one-off payment. The fund is available by invitation only to students enrolled in full-time nursing undergraduate degrees within the School of Health and Social Care who meet specific income and residency criteria.
