Sylvia Knight Award in Fine Arts

This award has been established by family and friends in memory of Sylvia Knight, a graduate of the University of Waterloo, who specialized in Fine Arts and was a long time supporter of the Department of Fine Arts. It is awarded annually to a graduate student in the Master of Fine Arts program who has maintained at least a B+ average, and who has demonstrated excellence in studio work. The selection is made by the Graduate Committee of the Department of Fine Arts each year. The award value varies and is intended to recognize outstanding achievement in fine arts studio practice among graduate students.
