Sylvia R. Nichols Scholarship

The Sylvia R. Nichols Scholarship supports full-time students accepted to Eastern Illinois University who are Chemistry majors or Chemistry majors planning to complete teacher certification with a specialization in Chemistry. Recipients are eligible to receive the award for subsequent years provided they maintain a 3.0 GPA. Financial need is not considered in the selection process, and preference is given to women applicants who plan to pursue a career in Chemistry. The award is announced in the spring and paid in the fall semester.
