Systems Design Engineering Memorial Award

The Systems Design Engineering Memorial Award honours deceased students, alumni, faculty, staff and friends of the Department of Systems Design Engineering at the University of Waterloo. Awards are made, as funds permit, to full-time undergraduate or graduate students in the Department of Systems Design Engineering on the basis of academic achievement. Selection is made automatically by the Associate Dean of Engineering, Graduate Studies and Research, and students do not need to apply separately. Donations have been received in memory of Professor Muthu Chandrashekar. This memorial award recognizes outstanding academic performance within the Systems Design Engineering program and provides financial support to graduate students pursuing their studies in this field. The award amount varies depending on available funds.
