Tae Whakemua – Reaching forward – The Johnson Group Scholarship

This scholarship is funded by the Johnson Group, public sector recruitment specialists who recruit public sector management, policy, human resources, communications and marketing roles. As specialists in public policy, the Johnson Group wish to give back through a scholarship that will help a student to complete a Postgraduate Certificate in Public Policy. The scholarship provides financial support up to $8,804 to be paid towards fees and levies for one year. The successful recipient will also gain experiences and access to networks that will assist them into work after they graduate. The scholarship is specifically designed for Māori or Pasifika students who demonstrate drive to progress in the field of public policy. Recipients are expected to write a letter of appreciation to the donor within one month of receiving the award, and the Johnson Group will work with the academic programme leader to provide career advice to students.
