Taiwan Summer Institute Programme

The Taiwan Summer Institute Programme is a DAAD-funded scholarship opportunity designed to support doctoral candidates and Master's students from Taiwan. The aim of the programme is to interest graduates of the Taiwan Summer Institute Programme in Germany as a centre of research and to encourage them to spend a longer period in the country. The programme funds short research periods at state or state-recognised universities, non-university research institutes, and in industry in Germany. The funding provides monthly payments from the DAAD for Master's students or doctoral candidates for a duration of 2 to 3 months starting in July. Selection is made by the National Science and Technology Council - NSTC of Taiwan.
