Taunton Maids Bursary

The Taunton Maids Bursary assists recipients with funding activities or purchases related to their music studies at Bath Spa University. The bursary supports concerts for special occasions, instrumental or specialist tuition, scores/sheet music, the purchase of instruments, and music-related trips and activities. Undergraduate students can receive between £500 and £1,500 over three years of study depending on their household income band, while postgraduate students can receive £150-£300 per year. Recipients must be aged 18-25 and have permanent residence in Somerset, North Somerset, or Bath and North East Somerset before coming to University. Students are automatically assessed for eligibility in early academic year and must submit reports and receipts demonstrating use of the bursary to continue receiving payments.
