Taurus Charitable Trust Entry-Level Scholarship in Music

The Taurus Charitable Trust Entry-Level Scholarship in Music was established in 2015 and is funded by the Taurus Charitable Trust. The scholarship provides up to $4,000 to support New Zealand citizens and permanent residents enrolling in the first year of a Bachelor of Music or BMus conjoint degree at the University of Auckland. The main purpose of the scholarship is to assist school leavers who have the potential to succeed in Music and for whom the financial contribution would make a significant contribution to their financial needs. Up to two scholarships are offered annually, with a tenure of one year. Applications typically open around six weeks before the closing date in early October, with the next cycle opening in August 2026.
