About this opportunity
The Te Aroha Vets Veterinary Grant supports fourth and fifth year Bachelor of Veterinary Sciences students at Massey University with an interest in mixed animal practice. Recipients must be willing to see practice at Te Aroha Veterinary Services, a private practice operating in the Waikato for 40 years. Te Aroha Vets is a family-focused, mixed practice with a strong dairy component and a growing, well-equipped small animal department. The grant provides financial support of NZD $1,000 for one year's duration, with two awards available annually. Applicants must demonstrate interest in mixed animal practice and submit a written statement on their interests and career intentions along with their CV. Selection is based on interests, future career intentions, and may also consider academic achievements. This opportunity includes a work placement at Te Aroha Veterinary Services.
