Te Herenga Waka – Victoria University of Wellington Data Science and Artificial Intelligence Māori PhD Scholarship

This scholarship is designed to encourage Māori postgraduate research in Data Science and Artificial Intelligence at Te Herenga Waka - Victoria University of Wellington. The scholarship supports Māori students who are about to begin their doctoral studies in areas related to Data Science and Artificial Intelligence. Awards are made on the basis of academic merit to New Zealand Māori students who demonstrate strong academic achievement. The scholarship provides comprehensive funding including a tax-free stipend and full tuition coverage for the thesis component. Recipients are expected to enrol full-time in a PhD program by thesis in fields such as AIML, COMP, or DATA. Successful applicants will also receive support to attend international conferences to present their accepted publications, enhancing their research profile and networking opportunities in the field.
