About this opportunity
The Cliff Whiting Memorial Scholarship was established by Museum of New Zealand Te Papa Tongarewa (Te Papa) to honour the late Cliff Whiting, a founding Kaihautū of Te Papa. The scholarship celebrates his legacy and makes a vital contribution to research and training for the next generation of museum professionals. The scholarship supports a student studying a full-time taught Masters in Museum and Heritage Studies in their final trimester at Te Herenga Waka–Victoria University of Wellington. Recipients may also be invited to participate in an internship with Te Papa. The scholarship seeks project proposals that align with Te Papa's areas of interest, with preference given to candidates of Māori descent.
