T.E.A.C.H. Early Childhood Scholarship Program

The T.E.A.C.H. (Teacher Education and Compensation Helps) Early Childhood Scholarship Program upgrades the level of education of teachers working with young children while making the educational process affordable, increasing wages, and reducing turnover. This scholarship program offers scholarship funds to take courses at any of North Carolina's Community Colleges that offer an Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education program. The program is designed for teachers, directors, or home providers working in licensed childcare facilities in North Carolina who want to pursue education in Early Childhood Education. It also supports those who have already completed their Early Childhood Education Associate Degree and need additional transferable credit hours to enter a North Carolina state college or university.
