Teach for Lewiston Scholarship

The Teach for Lewiston Scholarship is a financial aid opportunity for students at Lewis-Clark State College who are pursuing teacher certification. The scholarship is designed to support junior and senior year students enrolled in the Teacher Education Program who are committed to working in the local school district upon graduation. Recipients must maintain full-time enrollment status and a minimum 3.00 GPA, and must be within three semesters of completing their degree and certification requirements. The scholarship is offered in partnership with Independent School District No. 1, and recipients are expected to complete the district's pre-internship screening process and commit to working for the district upon degree completion. This program aims to develop a pipeline of qualified teachers for the Lewiston community while providing financial support to students pursuing education careers.
