About This Opportunity

The Technion Exchange Scholarship supports Doctor of Medicine students at the University of Sydney to undertake an elective term overseas at Technion – Israel Institute of Technology. Established in 2007, this scholarship facilitates international elective term experiences for medical students through a collaboration funded by Technion Australia (NSW) and the Ferdinand Joland Austin and Andreas Brummer Scholarship (FJAA Scholarship). The scholarship is awarded based on academic merit, curriculum vitae, references, and a personal statement, with possible interview requirements. Recipients must complete a minimum four-week placement at the Technion Institute in Israel. Note: This scholarship was not awarded for 2025 due to current expert travel advice for Israel.
