Technology bursary

A non-repayable bursary of £400 is available to new year 0 (foundation year) or year 1 students who need financial support to purchase IT equipment. This bursary is offered by Solent University to support students from low-income households in acquiring necessary technology for their studies. To be eligible, students must be 'Home' fee status, be enrolled on a full time undergraduate course, have an SFE household income assessment of less than £25,000 or receive the maximum maintenance loan, and have an admissions home postcode address within a Polar 4 Quintile 1 or 2 area. The bursary is specifically designed to help students who face financial barriers to accessing the technology needed for their undergraduate education.
