About This Opportunity
The Transition Fund Technology Grant is an initiative designed to help combat digital isolation for young disabled people in Scotland. Applicants can receive a 10.9-inch Apple iPad tablet computer, keyboard/cover and pencil to help them get online. The grant aims to help eligible young people get digitally connected, as so much in today's world relies on people being able to connect to the internet. ILF Scotland recognizes that not all young disabled people are able to access technology or the internet without support. The grant is quick and easy to apply for, with successful applicants receiving their technology in around 6 weeks. For those needing different types of computer equipment, they should apply to the main Transition Fund instead.
