About this opportunity
The Ted Delahunty Agribusiness Scholarship was established by the Ted Delahunty Trust to provide education and research into accounting and other business activities for the land-based primary industry. Mr Delahunty was a senior lecturer in Massey University's School of Accounting and Finance from 1978 to 1986, and established this trust upon his retirement. The scholarship supports final year students enrolled in the Bachelor of Agribusiness (formerly Bachelor of AgriCommerce) at Massey University's Manawatū Campus. The scholarship provides financial support up to $10,000 for one year's duration to assist students in their final year of undergraduate studies. Selection is based on academic background and achievements, with consideration also given to financial need, character, and good citizenship. Applicants must be New Zealand citizens or permanent residents studying full-time or part-time at the Manawatū campus.
