Ted Dimmick Scholarship

The Ted Dimmick Scholarship is named after Edwin (Ted) Frances Dimmick, who built a successful career in the textile industry and was a strong advocate for Australian-made products. This scholarship supports vocational and undergraduate textiles and fashion students who can demonstrate circumstances which impact their study. The scholarship provides financial assistance to students enrolled in textile design, fashion design, custom-made footwear, and sustainable fashion programs at RMIT University. Preference is given to students completing textile programs, then students in their final year or in one-year duration programs. This scholarship honors Ted Dimmick's legacy of providing educational opportunities, reflecting his own experience of receiving a scholarship that enabled his academic and professional success.
