About this opportunity
Point North's Tees Valley Community Grants Programme provides grants focusing on sustaining health and wellbeing and reducing inequalities. The fund prioritises projects which improve health and wellbeing, reduce poverty and inequality, support those impacted by family breakdown or domestic abuse, remove barriers to digital access, provide advice and support to people struggling to manage money, improve opportunities for education, training and employment, or work within the community to address local needs. Grants are available up to £3,000 for registered charities, community and voluntary groups with a constitution, and social enterprises that generate more than 50% of their income through trading. The fund covers various costs including core or running costs, essential maintenance, salaries, capital items and equipment, coaching or training activity, transport costs, capacity building activities, and repair costs. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis with decisions typically made within 8 weeks.
