Tell Your Story Scholarship

The Tell Your Story scholarship provides financial awards for continued education to Sanderson High School students, with a focus on students who have demonstrated strength and hope in the face of adversity, and those who have a passion for helping others. This scholarship is in memory of a former Sanderson teacher who was devoted to appreciating everyone's talents and stories. She had a gift for recognizing and celebrating the good that all could offer, particularly in challenging situations. This fund aims to celebrate and recognize recipients by providing financial support to help them settle into the next step of their educational journey. The scholarship awards $6,000 over two years and can cover any item under cost-of-attendance. Students may re-apply for an additional two years of funding to complete their undergraduate degree. The scholarship has a preference for refugee and immigrant students and requires a minimum 2.0 GPA.
