TELUS Student Award

The TELUS Student Award program is offered by TELUS Friendly Future Foundation to empower youth who are experiencing financial barriers and to accelerate access to post-secondary education. In its third year, the program supports young changemakers committed to making a difference in their communities. Recipients are encouraged to undertake a project or volunteering effort that contributes to positive social, environmental, or health outcomes in their communities. Award recipients may also receive access to free mobile and discounted internet services (where available), mentoring, mental health services, and other career development options. The award is available to students enrolled in their first full-time diploma or degree program at NAIT who are currently involved in or planning to undertake social impact activities. Preference is given to students who demonstrate financial need.
