About This Opportunity

The Temple Merit Scholarship Educational Enhancement Stipend is an award available to Temple University merit scholarship recipients that can be applied toward study abroad programs. Recipients can use one stipend per academic year (academic years run fall through summer) towards an approved study abroad program with a minimum stay abroad of 28 days during either a summer or semester. The stipend provides funding up to $4,000 that can be used for research projects, internships, or study away/study abroad opportunities. Students must apply to their study abroad program before submitting their stipend application through the Merit Scholar Stipend System. The stipend is specifically designed to enhance educational experiences by funding international learning opportunities for Temple University students who have demonstrated academic merit.
