Temple Summer in Germany: Intensive German Language (Leipzig) Study Abroad Scholarship

The Temple Summer in Germany: Intensive German Language (Leipzig) Study Abroad Scholarship provides $1,000 to students applying for the Temple Summer in Germany program in Leipzig who are pursuing German language proficiency. This scholarship is offered by the French, German, Italian, and Slavic (FGIS) department at Temple University. All scholarship applicants must submit a 500- to 1000-word typed essay answering the following question: What are your specific goals for studying abroad, how does language study in Germany fit with these goals, and how will you ensure that you achieve these goals? A successful essay will clearly articulate how the Temple Summer in Germany: Intensive German Language (Leipzig) program relates to personal, academic, and long-term goals. To be eligible for this award, applicants must be attending the Temple Summer in Germany: Intensive German Language (Leipzig) program. The application deadline is mid-February.
