Terence Holowach Memorial Prize

The Terence Holowach Memorial Prize is awarded annually to a student entering second, third or fourth year of a BSc program specializing in Computing Science at the University of Alberta. The recipient must demonstrate superior achievement in Mathematics, Physics and Computing Science, showing excellence across these core disciplines. Additionally, candidates must show a commitment to assisting fellow students, reflecting the collaborative spirit and mentorship values important to the award. The scholarship is available only to graduates of Alberta high schools, emphasizing support for local students. This endowed award was established by the family and friends of Terence Holowach, a member of the class of 1985, to honor his memory and legacy.
