About this opportunity
The Alan Neaves Scholarship I is a scholarship valued up to $3,000 designed to support student mobility in the Sydney Law School. Established in 2024 from a bequest by Alan Neaves, the scholarship promotes learning, teaching, research and the general advancement of scholarship in Australian and comparative constitutional law. The scholarship supports students from the University of Sydney Law School who are participating in law programs including international mooting, legal internships, legal placements (for credit or co-curricular), exchange programs, and offshore programs. This scholarship is automatically awarded based on selection criteria with no separate application process required. Recipients must be currently enrolled in either the Bachelor of Laws (LLB) or Juris Doctor (JD) degree at the University of Sydney Law School and have received approval to undertake an eligible law program. The scholarship is awarded based on academic merit and a personal statement demonstrating the applicant's motivation for participation and contributions to the University and/or community.
