The Amphlett Scholarship

The Amphlett Fund is committed to advancing the education of international students in the subject of Theology. This award supports Masters level (taught) students by covering up to 100% of their tuition fees at the international fee rate. The scholarship is available to students studying Theology (MA Theology and Religion or MA Religion, Politics and Society) at the University of Birmingham, who will commence their study at the start of the 2026 academic year. Applicants should be a national of one of the eligible countries in East and Southeast Asia and ordinarily be a resident outside of the European Economic Area. The award cannot be held in conjunction with any other scholarship including partnership scholarships. Students must demonstrate intention to return to their country of ordinary residence following their studies.
