The Anchor Foundation Grant Programme

The Anchor Foundation provides grants to Christian charities working on projects in the UK or overseas. The foundation focuses on supporting Christian charitable organizations with a maximum grant of £12,000 per project. Applications are considered twice yearly at Trustee meetings held in April and October, with deadlines of 31st January and 31st July respectively. The foundation supports a wide variety of projects but does not provide grants to individuals. Only in exceptional circumstances will grants be given for building work. Successful applicants are expected to provide a report on the use of funding 12 months after receiving the grant. The Trustees look favorably on organizations whose Boards demonstrate equal opportunities. Organizations that have received three consecutive years of funding must wait 2 years from the date of the last grant award before applying again, while other applicants should wait at least 12 months between applications.
