About This Opportunity

The Anglo-Danish Society provides grants of a minimum of £2,500 for Danish students to undertake postgraduate study in the UK. Scholarships are intended to be only a supplement to students' other funding and will run for a period of up to six months from the beginning of the academic year indicated or such other date as may be approved. All applicants are required to submit a budget for their study period and two signed letters of recommendation from persons of academic or professional standing. Successful applicants will be requested to submit a short report to the Society on the academic work undertaken during the period of study and will also be asked to give their permission for the Society to publicise awards. The report should be submitted at the end of the academic year for which they were given an award. Applications for projects that make use of specific educational opportunities existing between Denmark and the UK, contribute to cultural interchange between Denmark and the UK, or have relevance to current issues in either or both countries will be favoured.
