About this opportunity
The Arnold and Grace Rumbold Leadership Award recognizes full-time NAIT students who demonstrate exceptional leadership, community impact, and applied contributions. Arnold and Grace have been steadfast champions of NAIT and its students for many years, with their commitment to education reflected through generous support of student awards. Through their philanthropy, they have demonstrated a deep passion for creating opportunities for underrepresented groups and helping students build meaningful careers.
The award is available to students enrolled in any year or period of a degree, diploma, certificate, or apprentice program who maintain satisfactory academic standing. Students are evaluated based on three key criteria: Community Impact (demonstrated volunteerism, service, or leadership that has made a meaningful difference), Applied Contribution (evidence of using practical, hands-on skills to solve problems or support others), and Leadership & Citizenship (showing initiative, collaboration, and responsibility).
Students enrolled in co-op programs are eligible, though activities completed as part of Work Integrated Learning experiences will not be considered. Students may only receive the award once and must submit an application including a personal statement and letter of recommendation.
