The ASCAP Foundation Scholarships

The ASCAP Foundation Scholarship programs seek to ensure that opportunities for the study of music are available to students at all levels. The program encompasses a wide range of named scholarships including the Bart Howard Songwriting Scholarship, Betty Rose Scholarship, Boosey & Hawkes Young Composer Award, Frederick Loewe Scholarship, Henry Mancini Music Fellowship, Ira Gershwin Scholarship, Irving Berlin Summer Music Camp Scholarship, Louis Armstrong Scholarships, and many more. Unless otherwise indicated, it is the music faculty at each High School, College or University that selects scholarship recipients for their particular school. The scholarship recipient is not selected by The ASCAP Foundation directly. Students interested in applying should check with the financial aid office at their school to see if an ASCAP Foundation scholarship is available and if they are eligible to apply.
