The Babcock Family Scholarship

The Babcock Family Scholarship honors Rob Babcock, a graduate of Maryvale High School, former teacher, head basketball coach at Maryvale High School, head basketball coach at Phoenix College, and long-time NBA executive with several NBA teams. Rob was inducted into the Phoenix Union Athletic Hall of Fame in 2017. This merit-based scholarship is awarded to student athletes graduating from Maryvale High School who have demonstrated a high level of character along with academic ability. The scholarship recognizes exceptional individuals who embody both athletic achievement and strong character values, continuing Rob Babcock's legacy of excellence in academics and athletics.
