About This Opportunity

The BAME in Higher Education Ambition Scholarship is designed to support Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic (BAME) students within the Kent Community who are progressing from undergraduate to postgraduate study. The University has developed this scholarship as part of its efforts to support advanced education and facilitate career goals and ambitions for students from backgrounds critically underrepresented within Higher Education. This award provides £5,000 towards tuition fees for full-time UK students (£2,500 per year for part-time students) for those graduating in 2026 and continuing to Master's study at the University of Kent. The scholarship is specifically for current final year Kent undergraduate students with a 2.1 or first-class degree who identify as BAME and are continuing to postgraduate taught programmes at Kent's UK campuses in September 2026. A total of 12 awards are available under this scheme.
