About this opportunity
The Beacon Scholarship is a prestigious undergraduate scholarship for students from East Africa, specifically Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, or Zambia. The scholarship covers full tuition fees at the overseas rate for Imperial College London, with Beacon and the College each contributing 50% of the tuition fees. The scholarship is designed for students with significant financial need who demonstrate the potential to become leaders in their chosen fields and contribute to the future development of their home country. Scholars must cover all living costs including accommodation, subsistence, airfares, visa, health surcharges and all other incidental costs related to study in the United Kingdom. The scholarship is available for three-year or four-year undergraduate programmes in the faculties of Engineering, Natural Sciences, or the Imperial College Business School.
